Casino Mogul Makes Forbes Top 3

Sept. 28-06

A Las Vegas casino mogul was named the third richest man by Forbes magazine last week

Sheldon Adelson has acquired $20.5 billion fortune developing casinos. With his sight on the number one slot in Forbes, this casino proprietor will not stop in his relentless pursuit to provide the best in casino entertainment.

When interviewed for the magazine, Adelson made it quite clear that he had every indentation to knock Bill Gates off the Top slot on the Forbes List.  With a Venetian style Hotel and Casino that has such features as 4000 rooms and one of the largest casinos floors on the strip. Adelson may give Gates a rune for his money.

The investment of casino construction in Macao is the key behind Adelson climb up the economic ladder. this area is the only region in China where gambling is legal, and by building a site there he has created an inherent strong hold in the area.

The Sans' Hotel and Casino Macao location is already currently out performing his casino sites on the strip which, make no mistakes, are very lucrative businesses in the area. The Macao location has only been operation for two years, but it has returned Adelsons investment handsomely

Sand's Macao has 200,000 rooms to harbor gamblers from all over the world. The exotic location provides a great deal of intrigue and attractiveness to high rollers.

Adelson has faced a lot of criticism prior to opening his Macao location from individuals who said that Chinese gamblers would not be interested in the flashiness provided by Las Vegas style casinos. However, tourists from Japan and other areas and South East Asia more than make up for the apathy of the local Chinese citizens

Although possibly a financial genius, Adelson describes is business strategy as common sense. If an Eskimo is cold you bring him a blanket. The companies move to Macao provided a service that did not yet exist in the area, and now Adelson and his company are reaping the benefits
