World Series Of Poker
Well Under Way
The 37th annual Poker World Series has
broken a record in regards to the number of participants entered
in to the competition this year. Nearly 9,000 would be
champions have entered the competitive and highly stressful
tournament.
The motivation; an 82 million dollar cash
prize that w ill be presented to the last men standing. The pool
last year was only $54 million. The ultimate recognition still
seems to be the coveted Champion's Bracelet. This is the mark of
the superior Poker Player.
The final table is to be dealt on August
10th. The tournament currently rages on with former Hollywood
agent Jamie Gold at the helm.
Citizens from over 56 different countries
are competing this year. This is truly a colossal event. No doubt
Vegas is booming this week in lieu of the festivities. Poker fans
every where are tensely waiting to see who will be the next
champion.
The fun is only beginning as there are three
days till the tournament ends. Expect some huge risks because the
stakes are higher than ever before. This year the tournament
promises to up the ante from previous series competitions
